6-Foot-Deep Hole Found at Joel School Parking Lot

Crew members responded to a report of a hole in the parking lot behind Joel School this afternoon. We discovered a rather significant hole approximately 6-feet deep.

A quick discussion was held with school officials and in the interest of safety, it was determined to change the afternoon bus run from the rear of Joel School to the front of the school.

The move was necessitated by the need for us to open the area up and determine the extent of the problem. The area has been excavated and temporarily repaired but will remained blocked off over the weekend.
