• Clinton Chamber Leader Accused Of Embezzling $100K, Draining Accounts Nearly Dry: Police (dailyvoice.com) — Clinton residents are learning that the former executive director of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce has been arrested following an investigation into alleged misappropriation of more than $100,000 in chamber funds. Police say the chamber’s accounts were nearly drained, some vendors and an employee went unpaid, and the case has also triggered separate state tax charges that remain under active investigation.
