• Panera Bread To Open Store At Clinton Shopping Plaza: Report (patch.com) — Residents in Clinton can look forward to a new Panera Bread opening at the Indian River Shops on Killingworth Turnpike, between Starbucks and Yale Urgent Care. While no opening date is set, the cafe will join other recently announced businesses at the plaza and add to Panera's growing presence in Connecticut.
   

• Clinton, shoreline clean up after nor'easter flooding (nbcconnecticut.com) — Flooding from a weekend nor'easter temporarily shut down several Clinton waterfront businesses and swamped low-lying areas near the harbor, but waters have now receded and cleanup is underway. Harbormaster Rob Derry says high tides nearly reached his office, while Cedar Island homes and local roads saw significant water. Lobster Landing has reopened after closing to protect equipment and wait out blocked access roads.
