CLINTON, CT — Cafe Nola will be closing its Clinton restaurant on Nov. 1.
The cafe posted on Facebook that "personal and family events" affected the decision.
"I have met so many good and beautiful people, and even, some of them have become friends," the post from Olaya reads. "Henry on Main still will be here for you to read or buy any interesting book or audio book."
The post had over 100 reactions and 60 comments as of Friday morning.
"A real loss for Clinton," one commenter wrote. "You brought a delicious, unique eating experience to our town. You will be missed!"
Cafe Nola is located at 10 W. Main St. The eatery serves bagels, panini, soups, salads, specialty coffee drinks, artisan baked goods and more.
The coffee shop opened in July 2025 at the former Henry Carver Hull Library in downtown Clinton, according to The Connecticut Scoop.
Last year, Coffee Break also closed its doors in Clinton.
