Andrew Tessman, Clinton Rotary Club's Morgan School November 2014 Student of the Month

Clinton Rotary Club’s November 2014 Morgan School Student of the Month is Junior, Andrew Tessman.

Nominating Teacher, DonnaMarie Buffington, presented Andrew at Clinton Rotary Club’s Student of the Month event at Clinton Country Club on November 20, 2014.

Andrew is extremely active in the Clinton Boy Scout Troop 7 and has moved up in the ranks to the current position of Junior Assistant Scoutmaster. Andrew earned the highest honor of Eagle Scout during his sophomore year of high school. He has participated in National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) and has worked at the J.N. Webster Boy Scout Camp for the past two summers as a camp counselor.

Andrew also participates in other after school activities such as fencing and tennis. This year he is co-captain of the Fencing Team. He served as Class President in his sophomore year and currently is part of the Freshman Mentor Program. He also has participated in the STEP program. Andrew belongs to the High School Choir and the Dixieland Band. Andrew is a Student Board member for Clinton’s Partners in the Community and the Clinton Board of Education.

Andrew definitely exemplifies Rotary International’s motto of Service Above Self.
