ATM Burglarized At Dunkin’ Donuts: Clinton Police
Clinton Police detail recent calls the department has responded to, including burglaries and shoplifting incidents.

CLINTON, CT — Clinton Police are investigating a recent burglary reported at Dunkin’ Donuts on East Main Street in which the ATM was broken into.
Police also responded to a reported burglary from Liberty Place in which a storage container was broken into and a guitar was stolen.

Call # 17-3128, Burglary to building report summary: Investigating officer: Ofc Alexieff Santiago
On 02/23/17 at approximately 2121 hours, a complainant from Liberty Place reported a storage container had been broken into and a guitar was stolen. The matter is under investigation
Call #17-3566, Burglary to business report summary: Investigating officer: Sgt. Joseph Flynn
On 03/03/17 at approximately 0702 hours, a complainant from the Dunkin Donuts on East Main Street reported the store was entered and the ATM was broken into. The matter is under investigation.
Call # 17-3590, Shoplifting Report summary: Investigating officer: Ofc. Gregory Matakaetis
On 03/03/17 at approximately 1514 hours, a complainant from the Zumies Store, 20 Killingworth Turnpike reported a shoplifting. Multiple items were stolen. The suspects were described as, #1- An African American male, medium height, medium build, curly blond hair, #2- an African American male, medium height, medium build, curly black hair and had braces. No further description was provided. The matter is under investigation.
Call # 17-3604, Assist Other Agency, Robbery summary: Investigating officer: Ct State Police Troop F
On 03/03/17 at approximately 1932 hours, Clinton Police assisted the Ct state police with a robbery investigation, which occurred at the Extra Mart 130 Boston Post Rd Westbrook, at about 1900 hours. The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, 5’8” tall, medium build, wearing a black and yellow hooded jacket; he displayed a firearm and fled on foot. The matter is under investigation (UPDATE: An arrest has been made).
