Auditions for "The Pirates of Penzance"

Try out for a role, sing in the chorus, or work backstage for this hilarious musical!

Men: Do you long to buckle your swash or wield a cutlass?

Ladies: Have you always wanted to picnic on the Cornish coast as a ward in chancery?

The Connecticut Gilbert and Sullivan Society is holding open auditions for its October production of The Pirates of Penzance at Congregation Adath Israel, 8 Broad St., Middletown CT, on Sunday June 5 and Tuesday June 7 from 7 to 9 p.m.

We are looking for singers to try out for all principal and chorus roles from soprano to bass, as well as backstage workers. There will be three performances on Oct. 15 and 16 at the Valley Regional Performing Arts Center in Deep River, featuring beautiful costumes, multiple sets and a 23 piece professional orchestra.
