Bank Robbery Under Investigation by State Police
A reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of a man suspected of robbing Liberty Bank in nearby Deep River.
Troopers from Troop F-Westbrook responded to a reported bank robbery at Liberty Bank, 151 Main Street (Route 154) in Deep River, at approximately 4 p.m. Monday, August 17.
Troopers secured the scene, searched the area for the suspect, and initiated an investigation. Central District Major Crime responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.

- White male
- Early to mid-30s
- Approximately 6’0”
- Thin build
- Clean shaven
- Wearing a tan baseball cap, light colored T-shirt and tan pants.
The man reportedly fled on foot on Main Street in Deep River.
The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association is offering a reward of up $1,000 for information leading to the apprehension of those responsible.
