Add Us to Your Weekend Plans!
Before your calendar gets too full the Task Force would like to make sure it's a part of your plans!

It’s that time of year again when everything seems to be happening all at once. Classes are in full swing and exams are right around the corner, sports are heading into championship games, and holidays are fast approaching. Before your calendar gets too full the Task Force would like to make sure it’s a part of your plans!
This weekend is a busy one for us. On Saturday, October 29th from 10:00am-2:00pm we'll be working with the Clinton Police to run a collection site for unused, expired and unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medication. The medications that are dropped off will be handed over to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for safe disposal through incineration. If you cannot make it to the medication take back you can safely dispose of your unneeded medications at home. To do so, mix medications with an unpalatable substance (such as kitty litter or coffee grounds) and seal it in a container or plastic bag. Throw that bag into your household trash. Dispose separately of the medications' original containers after first peeling off the labels.
The Task Force will also be supporting Morgan REACT (a new club at the high school that focuses on promoting positive decision making in fun and productive ways) on Sunday during their Haunted Hallways at Morgan. From 5:00-9:00pm you can tour the haunted school and be spooked by the creepy students and “staff.” Admission is $3 per person and the funds will be donated to Clinton Social Services.
