I want to take another look at the bathrooms this week - especially looking at things that might be a bit more money but I want you to think about when you are considering updating your bathrooms. Remember - you don't want them to get so old that they take away from the value of your home!
This picture shows a fun way to update (thanks to BHG again - they have great pics!). Using the pedestal sinks really gives it an up-to-date feel!
Another area that isn't too expensive to update is your shower door. Do you still have a shower curtain? Putting in a clear glass door (yes, you have to squeegie it but that really isn't that bad!) not only updates the bathroom but if you have a small bath it makes it feel bigger as well!

Of course, more expensive areas are the shower/bathtub and tile. You can reduce some of these costs if you can tile yourself. However, if you are not really excellent at this it is well worth the money to pay a professional!
