This week I thought it would be fun to look at the master bedroom. I know that for most of you this is the last room you think of. Everyone tends to concentrate on the family room, kitchen, etc. but the master bedroom should not be overlooked. It should be a retreat from the craziness of your busy life. A place you can relax!
There are many fun ways to decorate your room - this picture (from BH & G) shows a very simple way to update. Here there are dramatic results with paint. The walls are a deep color and I love the bright yellow for the side table. You can pick up a couple of side tables - unfinished or even at a tag sale! - and paint them a fun color. They will look wonderful. Also, notice that they have just used a blanket (no expensive duvet or comforter!) and brought the yellow color to the foot of the bed with a small throw.
Think of all the different color combinations you could do using these ideas! You could do a black and white theme, dark and light blue, yellow and orange. Think of some fun color combinations - they are endless. Let me know what color combinations YOU love! Have fun! j
