Decorating on a Budget

Last week we talked about closets in general.  This week I would like to talk about your mud room.  This is a great picture that shows you some easy ways to organize your mud room without going crazy.  I am sure that even with organization your mud room will not look this perfect!  However, it will help to keep things to a dull roar.

Once again, you can do this quite easily yourself.  Once you develop the design, the cost of materials is not that much.  Things to think about when you are deciding the layout are who is using it and what are their needs.  For example - do you have children and need space for books, boots, and coats?  Do you need a chair or bench to put things on when you come back with groceries? Once you determine your needs it is very easy to design.

A well designed mud room can really help the rest of your home stay neat! Think - no more books, computers, mail, etc loaded on your kitchen counter! j
