Foodie In Florence: Communicating Sustainability
How has sustianability been communicated to you, and how would you like to see it more widely communicated in our town?

As part of my final project here in Florence, a group of students and I will be researching how to communicate sustainability. Apart from me introducing some sustainable terms and practices to you, I would love to get some more information on where you readers get information on sustainability on the global and local levels.
Here are some questions to think about:
1. Where did you first hear about the term sustianability?

2. What did you first think it meant and what does it mean to you now?
3. Where do you receive information on sustainable practices (local farms, markets, festivals, energy polices, environmental information, ect.)

4. In your opinion is sustainability more widely recognized on a global level or local level?
5. What are some positive and negative ways that sustainability has been communicated to you? (blogs, online articles, protesters, family/friends)
Feedback would be very much appreciated and will be used in my final project! Leave comments or email me at julia.mathison@uconn.edu. This type of information will be great in showing us how to more positively teach sustainability in our community in the future. Do you think Clinton could use a sustainability 101 class? Your responses can help make that happen!
Thank you Patch followers!
