Holiday Happenings at the Clinton Historical Society

Holiday Happenings at the Clinton Historical Society

Tis' the season for holiday festivities at the Clinton Historical Society! As part of our town wide "Christmas in Clinton" celebration, the historic 1750 Elisha White House (Old Brick) will be beautifully decorated and open for tours, refreshments and gift shopping on Sunday December 2 from 3:00 to 6:00. Entertainment will be provided by the talented actors from Kidz Konnection's Shoreline Actors Collective. The young actors will be reading "A Christmas Carol" throughout the afternoon and performing brief skits in period costume.

The CHS Holiday Luncheon takes place at Old Brick a few days later on December 4, 5,and 6 beginning at noon. This is a rare opportunity to dine in our historic home, visit with friends and family and take a break from the busy holiday season. On the extended menu this year is pear and pumpkin soup, corn kugel muffins, chicken divan and broccoli and noodles. Save room for coffee, tea and delicious cheesecake with strawberry sauce. Punch will be served as well. The price for the luncheon is $17.00 for members and their guests and $19.00 for non members. For additional information, and to make a reservation, contact Mary at (860) 669-5318.

Experience a memorable, old fashioned Christmas at the Clinton Historical Society.
