July 26 Hike at Peter's Woods

Last week I was not at the the Trailblazers program so I had my neighbor William who is also in the program take notes for me. Today (8/1/11) I gave him a visit and had a talk about what happened. Here is what happened in his words...

''On the orange trail there was a smothering fire! Ms. Andrea (the leader of the camp) had to call the volunteer fire department, the firemen had to wash out the fire with a backpack filled with water because the firetruck was too far away! Around the fire was a lot of litter. Later on, on the red trail another camper and I caught two green frogs." 

So in conclusion it was an interesting hike last week!!
