For those who may know my daughter, Emily Nash, and her career I am proud to announce her promotion to First Chair of the Chicago Civic Orchestra ( that means she is the lead violin and shakes the conductor's hand at the end of the performance).
Yo Yo Ma is performing a series there soon so she'll shake his hand too!
