Brothers Arrested, 200 Bags of Heroin Seized from Home: Clinton Police
Authorities executed a search warrant after developing information that the brothers were allegedly selling heroin and other drugs.
CLINTON, CT — Two brothers are accused of selling heroin and other drugs after authorities executed a search warrant on their Clinton home on Thursday, according to police.
Members of the Clinton Police Department, the Guilford Police Department and the statewide Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on Old Post Road in Clinton on Dec. 15.
Clinton Police say the search warrant was executed after information was developed that brothers Alex and Lawrence Adelman are involved in the sale and use of heroin. Police developed more information through investigation and a search-and-seizure warrant was granted.

Police seized about 200 bags of heroin, seven Adderall pills, 11 Soboxone pills, a ½ ounce of marijuana, scales and other drug paraphernalia from the home, police said in a news release.
Lawrence Adelman, 23, and Alex Adelman, 20, were each arrested on charges of possession of narcotics with the intent to sell, possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell and possession of a controlled substance.

They were each held on $20,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior Court on Dec. 16.
