Build a Stronger Relationship with Fitness
Working out with the one you love can be a great way to keep your body and relationship strong.

Working out with the one you love can be a great way to keep your body and relationship strong. While it has often been said that fitness buddies are awesome to help keep up motivation, a romantic fitness partner could one up it. A recent study by Brigham Young University found that couples tend to mirror each other’s healthy habits.
Sherry Amatenstein (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) author of The Complete Marriage Counselor advises “Working out together gives you a common goal.” It implies that you hope to live a long and healthy life together. Also, exercise has been proven to reduce stress so after a vigorous workout together you both feel happy and relaxed which is always better for a lasting relationship.
Another bonus of shared workouts is more “us time.” Working out as a couple feels less like a chore than it can when you’re alone. Fitness dates are activities you can both enjoy and create a healthy bond for the couple. Plus studies show the endorphins released when you workout boost the libido!
