CLINTON, CT — Condolences are extended to the family and friends of those who have recently died.
Charles Taft Sr., 78, died June 30. Co-owner of Total Interiors LLC. Survived by wife Sandie Taft; children Charles Jr., Anthony, Billy, Nichole Zingarella and Heather Bors; and five grandchildren.
John L. Neri, 93, died June 30. Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and six additional years in the Army Reserves; worked as a shareholder and laborer for Neri Brothers Construction Co. and later New England Road Inc. Volunteered 37 years with the Clinton Volunteer Fire Department and served 40 years as Clinton Housing Authority chairman. survived by wife Diane and stepdaughter Debbie.

David Lloyd Blinn, 86, died June 19. Managed Clinton Grain and Hardware and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Survived by seven children, including Valeda "Lee" Blinn, Frank Blinn and Heather Blinn, and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Alan Arnold Burghardt, 86, died June 14. Served as a Navy sonarman aboard the USS Vogelgesang and USS Robinson from 1957 to 1962, then worked as a hardware salesman and mechanic for Lindquist Hardware, Aspetuck Valley Country Club and L&R Power Equipment. Built wooden ship models later donated to the Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer House Museum in Stonington. Survived by wife Carol and
daughters Bridget Magri and Dina Burghardt.

James C. Kimmett, 66, died June 11. Worked as a medical dosimetrist at Yale New Haven Hospital and graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1981. Survived by wife Margaret and children Peter, James, David, Sean and MegEllen.
