The Clinton Art Society (CAS) is pleased to present the Elected Members Exhibition on view from September 22 through November 12, 2026. The annual exhibit highlights work by more than 30 accomplished artists. The opening reception is on Thursday, September 24 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm and is free and open to the public. 
“The exhibition is a celebration of our Elected Members’ talents and individual artistic journeys. CAS is delighted to showcase their art in this special show,” said Robin-Hammeal-Urban, CAS President. 

The exhibition is at the Andrews Memorial Town Hall, 54 E. Main Street in Clinton, CT and is open during regular Town Hall hours. CAS is a vibrant arts community with members from across the state and beyond working in all fine art media. The organization sponsors exhibitions, education programs and plein air events. New members are always welcome. What does UNITY mean to you?
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, Angelface Records — founded by Clinton residents Joe and Angelica McCarthy — invites the Connecticut community to gather for the first live experience of ONE: For Harmony, For Humanity — a multidisciplinary contemporary jazz album, live performance, and community project by the Latin Grammy®-winning, Grammy®-nominated <a target="_blank" href="https://joemccarthymusic.com" rel="nofollow noopener">New York Afro Bop Alliance Big Band</a>. This is an invitation to belong to something — not just to witness it.
The evening begins at 5:00 PM with The ONE Gathering — a community commons featuring UNITY stations, Arts for All Ages, and a shared Community Mural, where families create together and answer the question "What does UNITY mean to you?" Every person who walks in is invited to contribute their voice, their creativity, and their art to the project itself.
At 7:00 PM, The ONE Concert opens with community performances by&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://morgan.clintonpublic.net/music" rel="nofollow noopener">The Morgan School Jazz Band</a>, the <a target="_blank" href="https://shorelinetheateracademy.org/" rel="nofollow noopener">Shoreline Theater Academy Kidz Konnection</a>, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/PoetLaureateClintonCT/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Poet Laureate of Clinton Bethany Howard</a>, and Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter Michael J. Fox, among other special guests. The New York Afro Bop Alliance Big Band closes the evening with a live preview of ONE: For Harmony, For Humanity — a musical journey toward unity through five original compositions woven together with spoken word and community voices. What is experienced in the room does not end there. The questions, practices, and relationships travel home with you, extending the purpose of ONE beyond the stage. The album records in November 2026 and releases in early 2027.

The Women &amp; Family Life Center is bringing back Bonding Beyond Boundaries: Building Community at Any Age after a wonderful response this past spring!
Facilitated by Emma Dufresne, MSW, this&nbsp;workshop offers a welcoming space for adults ages 60 to 75, to build new connections, strengthen a sense of community, reflect on relationships, and explore opportunities for personal growth.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 7, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Women &amp; Family Life Center Carriage House, 96 Fair Street in Guilford.
