Car Burglars Stole Wallet, Credit Card: Clinton Police

Police are asking for help with identifying two suspects in connection to several car burglaries in Clinton over the weekend.

CLINTON, CT — Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying two suspects who used a credit card from a wallet that was stolen from a vehicle in Clinton. Police say the suspects (pictured) were involved in the operation of a stolen vehicle and used the credit card that was taken from an unlocked vehicle early Saturday morning (June 9).

Several cars in the area of Old Nod Road in Clinton were also entered early Saturday morning, shortly after midnight, according to police.

Police said similar car burglaries took place in Madison early Saturday morning. Police are reminding residents to keep their vehicles and homes locked and “do NOT leave keys or valuables in your vehicles.”
