Clinton Chamber Honors Outstanding Individuals

Clinton Chamber of Commerce holds Annual Awards Dinner

On October 21st the Clinton Chamber of Commerce honored 5 outstanding individuals at their Annual Awards Dinner. As tradition goes the Board of Education shared the evening by presenting their Business Person of the Year to Matt Corcoran of Corcoran Computer Serv The Chamber recognized Alan Kravitz from the Planning and Zoning Commission with the Award of Distinction for Public Service. The ‘Best Foot Forward’ Award was given to Cindy Stevens for her renovation of 30 East Main St. now known as Cindy Stevens Fine Art. Chamber Chair Michael Cuoco was honored with the Business to Community Partnership Award. A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Ellen Cavanagh for 25 years of dedicated service to the Clinton Chamber of Commerce.

The evening which took place at the Clinton Country Club was sponsored by Sullivan, Heiser, and Sweeney Attorneys at Law, Comcast, Guilford Savings Bank, and Walker Loden (who now have a new location in Essex). Auction Items donated by local businesses were auctioned off to benefit the Chamber
