Clinton Crossing Outlets Has Delayed Opening On March 8

The town is continuing to dig out from Wednesday's snowstorm.

CLINTON, CT — As towns across the state continue to dig out from yesterday’s snow storm, Clinton Crossing Outlets announced that it will be opening at 12 noon on Thursday, March 8.

Several trees and power lines are down as a result of the storm and Clinton Police said Thursday morning that driving conditions are still unsafe and to stay indoors, if possible, while crews continue the cleanup.

“Do not drive over or touch any downed power lines as they pose a high risk of electrocution,” police said in an update around 8 a.m. “Please do not park any vehicles on the street, so that our DPW crews can clear the snow as quickly and effectively as possible. All of Clinton's Town and Emergency Services are working to bring Clinton back to status quo.”
