Clinton Gearing Up for Hurricane Joaquin Effects

Update on Hurricane Joaquin 9/30/15

Based upon the recent forecast for the path of Hurricane Joaquin and its uncertainty, the department has begun to prepare for a potential impact. We start this process well in advance to check equipment, make necessary repairs, and acquire any equipment or parts needed.

The Fire Department always maintains a constant state of readiness making this process relatively seamless, although special preparation are necessary to prepare for such an event.

The department has and will continue to coordinate with other town agencies to prepare, this includes meeting as part of the towns emergency operations group tomorrow.
