GUILFORD, CT - State police said a Clinton man was arrested Thursday after he was involved in an accident that caused a car containing four people to roll over. He was later charged with driving under the influence, police said.

Police said officers responded to reports of an accident near Exit 58 in Guilford around 11:02 p.m., where they found a vehicle rolled over on its roof within the median of the road, according to a release. Another vehicle was found stopped in the right lane with extensive front end damage, police said.

Police said David A. Goodrich, 38, of Clinton hit the vehicle in front of him from behind, causing it to flip over. Both vehicles were towed and all involved were transported to a hospital for treatment of possible minor injuries, police said.
