Clinton Man Sexually Assaulted Minor, Prosecutors Say
A Clinton man was on trial for multiple counts of sexual assault, according to prosecutors.
CLINTON, CT — A Clinton man was found guilty recently in a sexual assault case, according to a statement from Middlesex Judicial District State’s Attorney Michael A. Gailor.
Matthew Pixley, 46, was found guilty of four counts of first-degree sexual assault, one count of second-degree sexual assault, two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault, and one count of risk of injury to a minor.
Prosecutors said evidence presented at trial showed that Pixley repeatedly sexually abused a child between the ages of 8 and 13.

Pixley will be sentenced May 15 in Middletown Superior Court.
