Clinton Plans Public Session on Automated Traffic Safety Devices
An upcoming meeting in Clinton will provide an overview of how automated traffic safety devices work.
CLINTON, CT — The Town of Clinton and the Clinton Police Department will host a Community Information Session regarding proposed Automated Traffic Safety Devices. This session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, at 6:00 PM.
The meeting will take place in the Green Room at Clinton Town Hall. Its purpose is to provide an overview of how these devices operate and to share general information with the community. This session will precede a public hearing on the matter.
Residents who have general questions about the devices are encouraged to submit them in advance. Questions can be emailed to Inquiries@clintonct.gov. The town clarified that only general device-related questions will be addressed during the presentation. Specific or personal situations will not be discussed during the session.

Following the Community Information Session, the Town Council will conduct a Public Hearing. This hearing is scheduled for 6:30 PM on the same day, March 25, and will also be held in the Green Room at Clinton Town Hall. The public hearing will focus on a proposed ordinance related to the automated traffic safety devices.
The Town of Clinton encourages all residents to attend both the information session and the public hearing.
