Police have designated a safe space for residents to conduct e-commerce transactions.

CLINTON, CT — Clinton Police have set up a safe space for residents to conduct e-commerce transactions. A space is now designated for safe E-Commerce exchanges at police headquarters, located at 170 East Main Street, Clinton Police announced on Friday.

“The space is signed and located at the Southern end of the public parking lot,” police said in a post on Facebook. “The area is monitored 24 hours-a-day. Residents are free to use the space at any time, to have a safe place to complete private sales transactions for items bought and sold over the internet.”
