Less than a week ago, the Clinton Police Department in conjunction with Families Helping Families requested (via social media) to our citizens, to please consider donating their used or no longer needed bicycles. This was requested so the bikes could be refurbished and reallocated to people in our town in need of a refurbished safe and operable bicycle!!
Clinton resident and bicycle enthusiast Paul Egan, voluntarily refurbishes these bicycles so they can be made safe and useable once again. Paul agreed to accept this challenge and will be refurbishing these bicycles in the upcoming weeks and months!
In just six days, 28 bicycles were donated to the Clinton Police for this project. These bikes will keep Paul very busy for quite a while!!
Once again the residents of Clinton answered the bell and delivered!! The Clinton Police and Families Helping Families would like to thank the citizens of Clinton and Mr. Paul Egan for their efforts in this undertaking!!!
