Clinton Public Works Embraces Solar Technology
The town has brought in cleaner technology at no cost to taxpayers.

CLINTON, CT - The Clinton Energy Committee has invested in a solar farm used to power Public Works activities. According to the town's website:
"The recent installation of a solar panel system was achieved at no cost to the Town through the efforts the Clinton Energy Committee. The solar farm consist of 36 panels that equate to a 9.72 KW system. It has Solar Edge optimizer, inverter and iron ridge racking with panels supplied Canadian Solar. Aegis Solar from Branford installed the sytem. The members of the Clinton Energy Committee are, Paul Gebauer, Aidan Moran, Bill Castelli and Tom Ledyard. Anyone interested in a solar enegry system may contact the committee."
