Eric Peterson, Clinton Rotary Club’s Morgan School Student of the Month
April 2015
Eric has been a Boy Scout for over five years. Recently he earned the top rank of Eagle Scout and now holds the leadership position as Assistant Scout Leader with Troop 7. Both accomplishments are high achievements in Scouting.

Eric has shown great leadership not only within our town but within Connecticut. This coming summer will be the third consecutive year to volunteer as a member of the scout leadership team for National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) at the J.N. Webster camp in Ashford, CT. He will be the Youth Course Director for NYLT during the first season and Assistant Scout Leader volunteer for the first Scout Summer Camp.
Eric has participated in sports such as football, basketball and tennis during his High School years at Morgan School. This year, as a Senior, he earned the title of Football Quad-Captain. Eric is also musically talented, participating in the High School Band all four years and is currently Band Captain. He is part of a rock band that played at the recent REACT Spirit Night at Morgan School . Eric also excels academically with a favorite pastime of figuring out various Rubik’s Cubes. Plus he also finds time to work part-time outside of school hours.
