April 2016 Clinton Rotary Club’s Morgan School Student of the Month,
Nola Neri.
Nola is a Senior at Morgan School. She is naturally gifted both academically and athletically. Nola is one of eight students in the senior class in the honors program. She has enrolled in the most rigorous curriculum (of all honors and AP coursework) over her high school tenure. Nola is also a member of the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society. Her commitment to excellence and driven nature is also seen on the athletic fields. She is a talented soccer player and will be a welcome addition to Wesleyan University’s women’s soccer team where she will be attending this Fall. Nola also participates on Morgan School’s fencing and indoor track teams. She is musically gifted as both a pianist and guitarist.

Nola contributes to her school and community greatly through her participation in the INTERACT and REACT Clubs. The primary focus of these groups is to design a variety of fundraising and service efforts to enhance school climate, raise funding for needy causes and give back to the community. She also volunteers her time at the local soup kitchen and her church. Per her Nominating Teacher, Christie Williams-Kahn, Nola’s drive and intellect is innate and excelling is simply a part of her nature.
