Cameron LeClaire, Clinton Rotary Club’s Morgan School Student of the Month
May 2015
Cami (as Cameron is known) is a Freshman at Morgan School and has stood out among her peers and teachers as an exceptional student. Not only for her intelligent hard work, but also for her kindness to her peers and her teachers.

Her Study Hall teacher made it known how impressed he was by Cami with her incomparable character and dedication to her schoolwork. Later in the year, he also made sure that Cami was recommended for Honors World History. Emily Russell, her Social Studies Teacher said it was one of the easiest decisions she has had as a teacher so far!
Cameron is a High Honors Student who has never had a missing assignment the entire year. She puts effort and care into everything she does, and always has thoughtful insights to share with the class. She is very involved in the Morgan Community outside of her coursework. She can often be found interviewing students and teachers for the Morgan PawPrint. She is also on Student Council and plays on the softball team.

With her very busy schedule within the Morgan Community, Cameron also finds time for many activities outside of school. Her community service is an example of her generosity and willingness to help others. She is very involved with her church and has participated in mission trips, volunteered in soup kitchens as well as volunteering as an umpire for Little League and found time to work in a pre-school. Cameron LeClaire’s involvement in the Morgan Community as well as the wider Clinton Community truly exemplifies Rotary International’s Motto of “Service Above Self”.
