Clinton Rotary Club's Morgan School Nov 2017 Student of the Month

The Clinton Rotary Club recently celebrated Morgan School Senior, Gabby Bussiere as November 2017 Student of the Month. Per Nominating Teacher, Kate Iverson, Gabby is extremely involved in both her school and community. She became involved in her Freshman year with the Interact Club at Morgan and has been President for the past two years. Even with her very vigorous class schedule, she volunteers 250 hours and counting to help those in need in our community. This includes volunteering at the local Soup Kitchen; stocking/packing bags at the food pantry; fall clean-ups for community members who have undergone a hardship; sending care packages to our troops overseas at Christmas time and many more events. Last year, she played a key role with the Interact Club raising $1000 to help women in Nepal receive an education. Gabby truly exemplifies Rotary International’s motto of “Service Above Self”.
