Michael, a Senior at Morgan School, is Senior Class President and leads by example in both school and in the greater Clinton Community. He is a long term volunteer with the Morgan REACT Club and also active in the Green Team of the Company of Fifers and Drummers. This organization recycles cans and bottles during muster events to raise money to provide scholarships to young people ages 8-18 with financial difficulties who wish to attend Jr. Fife and Drum camp. This year, Mike launched a version of the Green Team here at Morgan aimed at promoting a more sustainable school environment while helping seniors to defray the cost of college entrance exams and application fees. Here in Clinton, Michael has been member of the Inland Wetlands commission and served as a Land Use Intern. Michael recently was chosen for the Morgan School Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents’ Student Award.
