Clinton Sergeant Recognized for Investigative Work
Joseph Flynn was honored recently by the Police Commissioners Association of Connecticut.

Clinton Police Sergeant Joseph Flynn was recognized by the Police Commissioners Association of Connecticut, at a March 25 ceremony, for his work investigating a local physician for numerous counts of sexual assault against patients.
Flynn lead the investigation into more than 50 woman who reported they were sexually assaulted while seeing their doctor for various ailments.
The investigation led to the arrest and conviction of Dr. Tory Westbrook, who is currently serving jail time for the crimes.

Flynn (pictured center) is accompanied by Commissioners’ June Hanson, Kim Simoncini (Flynn), Peter Niles, and Ed Tessman. The event is held annually by the association to recognize outstanding work by police officers in the state.
