Clinton Shopper Leaves Purse in Car; Credit Cards Used by Suspect: Police
Clinton police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect.
A Shore TV & Appliance shopper told police she was in the store between 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Friday, June 12, and when she came back to the car, her purse was gone.
Shore TV & Appliance is located at 11 East Main St. in Clinton.
“Investigation determined the victim’s credit cards were used a short time after, and a suspect was developed,” Clinton Police said.

The suspect allegedly purchased Visa gift cards at Walgreens in Westbrook at 12:09 p.m. on June 12.
She allegedly attempted to withdraw funds from First Niagra Bank of Centerbrook on June 13 at 2:59 p.m.

The Clinton Police Department retrieved store surveillance and determined that the suspect is a white female who at the time was wearing a blue button down shirt, jeans, with red/blonde hair.
She is seen entering and exiting the Walgreens parking lot in a gray early 2000’s Honda CRV SUV.
