Clinton ZBA To Hear Shore Road Setback Request, Long Hill Road Garage Cases
Clinton's ZBA will hear a Shore Road setback request and two Long Hill Road garage cases at its Oct. 21 public hearing.
CLINTON, CT — The Clinton Zoning Board of Appeals will hold an Oct. 21 public hearing on a setback variance for a house at 96 Shore Road and two matters involving a garage addition at 112 Long Hill Road, including an appeal of a decision revoking zoning approval.
The hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Auditorium at William Stanton Andrews Memorial Town Hall, 54 East Main St..
Anthony Bolduc is seeking a variance for property at 96 Shore Road under ZBA-26-9. Gary and Barbara Corliss are listed as the property owners.

The property, identified as Assessor's Map 79, Block 70, Lot 87 in the R-10 Zone, is the subject of a request for a variance from Section 26.11.8 of the zoning regulations for the northeast side setback for a house.
The board will also revisit two related applications concerning 112 Long Hill Road, both involving a garage addition.

Under ZBA-26-6, applicant Jeffrey Beatty is requesting variances from Section 26.11.8 for the south side setback and Section 26.11.10 for the rear setback to allow an addition to an existing garage. Marc Rook is listed as the property owner. The site is identified as Assessor's Map 75, Block 52, Lot 5-1A in the R-60 Zone.
ZBA-26-7 concerns the same property. In that case, Beatty is appealing the zoning enforcement officer's decision to revoke zoning approval for the garage addition.
Members of the public will have the right to speak at the hearing, and written communications will be accepted. The applications, accompanying maps and correspondence are available for public inspection on the Town of Clinton website, according to the notice.
