Clinton's First Selectman Candidates Tied After 2015 Election
A recount will take place Saturday, Nov. 7, and may prompt a second election.
There’s a first time for everything. In Clinton, for the first time in the history of municipal elections, the two selectmen candidates received the same number of votes in Tuesday’s election — 1,632 each.
The two candidates are Bruce Farmer and William W. Fritz, Jr.
Town Clerk Sharon Uricchio was quoted in the New Haven Register as saying a recount will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Town Hall’s Rose Room.

The recount is open to the public.
