Credit Card Theft Investigated In Clinton

Police are asking for help identifying several suspects in connection to stolen credit card numbers.

CLINTON, CT — Clinton Police are asking for assistance with identifying three suspects accused of purchasing items with stolen credit card numbers. Police say the credit card numbers were stolen from a Clinton resident and the credit card never left the victim’s possession and was “likely skimmed at a point of sale transaction she made previously.”

The credit card numbers were used to make several purchases at the H&M store at the Crystal Mall in Waterford. Police have released surveillance photos of the three suspects who made purchases using the stolen credit card numbers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer O’Brien at 860-669-0451 or jobrien@clintonct.org.
