Deep River Resident Wins $100K Playing CT Lottery

DEEP RIVER, CT — A Deep River resident won $100,000 playing the CT Lottery. The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, won playing Powerball.

The resident purchased the lucky ticket Monday at the Xtra Mart in Westbrook.

The CT Lottery furnishes winner information as public record.

The Connecticut Lottery only publishes names of people who win $10,000 or more, which officials claim is quite common.

"The fact is, people win every day with the CT Lottery!" officials said in a statement.
