Driver Crashes Into Fence, Flees Scene: Clinton Police
Police are asking for help locating the vehicle.
CLINTON, CT — Police are asking for the public’s assistance with locating a vehicle that crashed into the fence of the Catalpa Beach Club and fled the scene. Police responded to the crash at about 6 p.m. on Aug. 27 across from the Catalpa Beach at 176 Shore Road. The driver left the scene and continued eastbound on Shore Road, according to police.
The vehicle is a 2012-2014 silver Subaru Impreza and was spotted on surveillance video from a nearby residence. The vehicle has moderate damage to the right side of the front bumper, missing the right side mirror, and possible damage to passenger side of the vehicle, police said.
