The Essex River Valley Auxiliary of Child & Family Agency's Intake Day on Wednesday, April 8th
"Donate a Treasure, Help a Child" The sale of your treasures will enable Child & Family Agency to help 17,000 children this year!

Child & Family Agency is gearing up for its 61st Annual Sale, which has earned a reputation for being one of the “Largest Tag Sales in New England.” It all starts with the “Intake,” where people drop off donations of gently used furniture, art, collectables, linens, housewares, small appliances, sporting goods, toys, games, books, CDs, DVDs, tools, clothing and jewelry at an area “Intake” location.
Auxiliary members of C&FA will be standing by to greet and assist with your donated items at six “Intake” locations (listed below). Items will then be sorted, boxed and transported to Groton for a bonanza, 3-day fundraiser. This year’s 61st Annual Sale will be held Thursday April 16th from 9-5, Friday April 17th from 9-5 and Saturday April 18th from 9-3 at Ella T. Grasso Technical High School at 189 Fort Hill Road in Groton. All proceeds from the tag sale support Child & Family Agency programs and services.
Donations are tax deductible, for which receipts will be issued at the “Intakes.” So, as you clean and clear out your house this spring, consider donating items to the Child & Family Agency’s Annual Sale. “Bring your best, and leave the rest.” Help make this year’s fundraiser a success and, in turn, support necessary programs and services for our children in need. Last year over 17,000 children and their family members in 79 towns were helped by the agency’s staff of 190 dedicated professionals.
