In 1988, Geoff Kaufman, Craig Edwards, David Littlefield and Rick Spencer got together as a group for the first time. Their goal was to put together a set of songs to be presented at the 9th annual Sea music Festival. The response from the audience was very positive and a new force in sea music was launched. The members of Forebitter are individually well respected performers and folklorists, and when they get together they bring a new dimension to the performance of sea music with intricate harmonies that are blended with a host of musical instruments to make for a fun and lively evening of music. This is the second time that Forebitter has agreed to reunite to present a high energy show for Branford Folk. Bring your voices and be ready to sing along!
