Waterstone is expanding care in Madison with a new specialized Sleep Disorders Treatment Program designed to help patients finally get the restorative sleep they need for better overall health. Led by Thomas Abbenante, MD, a board-certified sleep physician, and Amanda Ciampini, APRN, the program provides comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of sleep conditions. The sleep program is available at Waterstone’s Madison and Hamden locations, making specialized sleep care more accessible to individuals throughout shoreline Connecticut and the greater New Haven region. Waterstone has been part of the Madison community since 2015, originally founded to provide compassionate outpatient care for individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges. Over the past decade, our practice has grown into a trusted local resource offering mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and psychiatric medication management. The addition of sleep medicine reflects Waterstone’s commitment to whole-person care—recognizing that sleep, mental health, and recovery are deeply connected.
