Extra Savings at Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets During Tax Free Week

Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets will host a Sidewalk Sale during Connecticut's tax free week

Simon’s Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets will host a Sidewalk Sale during the same week as this year’s Connecticut’s sales tax holiday. Sunday, August 16 through Saturday August 22, shoppers are invited to enjoy even more savings on top of tax free shopping.

Shoppers are encouraged to take advantage of the extraordinary savings as Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets offers deals of up to 65% off at 70 designer and name brand outlet stores. The center will operate unders its extended summer hours; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

“Connecticut’s sales tax holiday is an added bonus to the extraordinary savings visitors will find here,” commented Kathleen Mones, director of marketing and business development for Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets. “With summer closeouts and fall styles now on display as well back-to-school shopping needs, the Sidewalk Sale and tax free week will allow families to save even more than usual.”

Throughout the tax-exempt week, shoppers will get a break from Connecticut’s 6.35% tax rate when purchasing clothing or footwear under $100 per item. However, some exclusions may apply.
