Fire Breaks Out At Old Saybrook Restaurant

OLD SAYBROOK, CT — A fire broke out at a Vietnamese restaurant in Old Saybrook on Tuesday afternoon, according to fire officials.

Firefighters responded at 4:40 p.m. on a report of a fire at Saigon City Restaurant, which is located at 1315 Boston Post Road.

Police, building officials, the fire marshal, and health officials also responded.

The fire resulted in minor damage to the kitchen and extended to the second floor.
