Firefighters Help Minimize Damage to House in Clinton Fire

The Clinton Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 25 Morgan Park on Sunday morning.

Fire crews reported heavy smoke and flames from an attached garage at the residence, fire officials said.

Westbrook, Madison, Killingworth, and Old Saybrook fire departments provided mutual aid to assist in fire suppression.

Fire was knocked down by crews with minimal extension to the residence, fire officials said. No injuries were reported, and the fire is currently under investigation by the Clinton Fire Marshal’s Office.
