Firefighters Rescue Driver Stuck On Flooded Road In Old Saybrook

Today's storm is wreaking havoc on roads all across Connecticut.

OLD SAYBROOK, CT — Today’s storm is wreaking havoc on roads all across Connecticut and firefighters in Old Saybrook are reminding motorists to avoid driving through flooded roads. The fire department shared photos on Facebook of a car stuck in a flood in which firefighters had to remove the driver.

“Old Saybrook Firefighters removed a person whose car was stuck in flooded water,” the department said in the post. “Reminder to everyone during storms like this to avoid driving through flooded streets.”
