Fundamentals of Lace Knitting, with instructor Jackie Blomberg

Friday afternoons: 2-4 pm (March 15-April 15,2019)

With Spring is right around the corner how about adding a new accessory to your wardrobe while learning the fundamentals of lace? In this beginner lace class, you will learn how to read a chart, knit with beads, how to block, and helpful hints in completing a beautiful lace shawl.

Requirements:

• must know how to knit and purl
• Yarn: 400 yards of a lace weight yarn
• Needles: US8 & US10 29” circular needles
• Crochet hook: size 12-14*
• Beads: 150 “E” beads or size 6
• Small stitch markers

* used in adding beads to knitting- you do not have to know how to crochet
